Dr. Luqman Lawal began his healthcare journey with an MD from the University of Ilorin, followed by a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota, which deepened his knowledge of public health. Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Lawal earned an MBA from MIT Sloan and certificates in global health delivery and public health planning from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, respectively.
With over 15 years of experience in global health, Dr. Lawal has played key roles in bridging health systems and pioneering digital healthcare solutions across more than 70 countries. As the head of the Mayo Clinic Platform’s global expansion, he has integrated AI and ML to improve healthcare outcomes and efficiency. Additionally, his leadership extends to managing Erez Capital and contributing to the World Economic Forum’s digital healthcare initiative.
