Dr. Mohd Lutfi is the Senior Data Scientist at Avant-garde Health, Founder of Hospitals Beyond Boundaries and had the honour of being named in Forbes Asia 30 Under 30.

He graduated from Harvard University with a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) with his dissertation “Enabling Value-based Healthcare in Low Resource Settings through Innovations in Health Information Technology”

Dr. Mohd Lutfi had experience practicing as a physician as well as a health economics researcher in Malaysia. His years of working in a hospital environment as well as researching the microeconomics of health care ignited his passionate towards transforming health systems towards one that is aligned to value. He previously interned at the World Health Organization headquarters in Geneva. Dr. Lutfi received his MD from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and completed his clinical training at Sungai Buloh Hospital in Malaysia.
