COMPETITION OVERVIEW
The Scientific Committee of the MIH Megatrends 2025 is inviting submissions of original
scientific materials for scientific poster competition. The main objective for this poster competition is to engage participants in researching and critically analyzing key issues in:
• Public Health
• Prevention and Management of Non-communicable Diseases
• Sustainable Healthcare Practices
The MIH Megatrends 2025 Scientific Poster Competition will be a platform for participants to effectively communicate these findings through scientific posters, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development in these vital areas of health science.

COMPETITION OVERVIEW
The Scientific Committee of the MIH Megatrends 2025 is inviting submissions of original

• Sustainable Healthcare Practices
The MIH Megatrends 2025 Scientific Poster Competition will be a platform for participants to effectively communicate these findings through scientific posters, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development in these vital areas of health science.
ELIGIBILITY
• Open to all healthcare workers and academic providers
• Participants must submit:
– A final poster (A0 size, PDF format)
• Must be present onsite for the poster presentation session
• No restriction on number of authors, but only one submission per presenting author
• Participants whose abstracts are selected for showcasing are responsible for independently
arranging the physical printing of their abstracts in AO size

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The participants must fulfill the following criteria:
i. Once your abstract is accepted, you must submit the final softcopy poster to the Scientific Committee.
ii. The poster must be related to broadly to the three categories of the competition (public
health, non-communicable disease (NCD) and sustainability).
iii. Must display their poster onsite and willing to attend the poster presentation session.
iv. Authors for the poster submitted has no limitations and guidelines will be provided.
v. Only one submission per participant (as first and presenting author).
vi. Only one certificate of attendance will be given to the presenting author.

CONTENT REQUIREMENT
This year competition is divided into 3 categories: public health, non-communicable disease
(NCD) and sustainability. Final category participation are subjected to reviewer’s assignment.
Public Health
Public health should include studies related to preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting health through organized societal efforts. It focuses on protecting and improving the health of entire populations by promoting healthy lifestyles, preventing disease and injury and responding to health threats at community or broader levels.
Non-Communicable Disease (NCD)
Non-communicable diseases should focus on studies related to chronic conditions such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes and chronic respiratory diseases that are not transmitted person-to-person.
Healthcare Sustainability
Healthcare sustainability refers to implementing environmentally responsible, cost-efficient practices within healthcare systems to support healthy communities and reduce environmental impact. This includes minimizing waste, reducing carbon emissions and ensuring resource efficiency, thereby promoting a balance between human health and the natural environment for long-term resilience.
